The Sana Chair has been created by Monica Förster for the brand Zanat. Swedish designer Förster creates pieces that have a pure form and attest to her love for exploring new possibilities and making the most of technology to optimise functionality. The Sana Chair demonstrates this. It stands out with its gracefully arched backrest that is curved inwards so that it hugs the back and provides optimal comfort. The outside of the backrest is carved by hand, which is how lines running across were added for the sake of texture and intrigue. Its seat also has soft curves that provide ample support and comfort. Its frame is made of maple, a hardwood that is strong and durable. Also exceptional about this chair is how the seat does not fit over the frame as is conventional but rather is curved upwards and lifted from the edges.
The Sana Chair has a width of 49cm, a height of 81cm and a depth of 50cm. Its seat height is 45cm. It is available in a frame that matches or contrasts with the seat and backrest. It is stackable and suitable for use both in homes and commercial spaces like cafeterias and restaurants.
