The stunning Wire Chair DKR was designed by Ray and Charles Eames for the design label Vitra.

Charles and Ray Eames are very famous names from the 20th-century era of design. Some of their iconic pieces include the Eames Chair and the Hang-it-all Coat Hook that have been popular since their release several decades ago. The duo has won many awards, and their products have been showcased in design exhibitions worldwide. In 1957, the label Vitra was given the exclusive rights to produce the Eames' designs for the European market, and the brand has reinvented and added variety to some of the most popular products from this man-and-wife design team's archives.

This includes the Wire Chair DKR, a reinvention of the famous Eames chair. In this version, the striking piece features a seat of meshed, powder-coated steel wire for a look that's highly stylish owing to its almost cold, industrial practicality. The Wire Chair DKR also features the classic Eiffel Tower base that is seen in many versions of the Eames chair. Designed for outdoor use with a durable welded steel construction and easy drain surface, the Wire Chair is ideal for the terrace, patio, balcony or cafe.
