The HAL Tube Chair Stackable was created by the designer Jasper Morrison for the manufacturer Vitra.
Vitra displays a firm commitment to modern design; in their pieces, form meets functionality and sustainability. The company was founded in the 1950s and features a number of design classics of the 20th century in its line up. Jasper Morrison has designed several projects for this manufacturer, and many of his works are featured in design museums around the globe.
The HAL Tube Chair Stackable is part of Jasper Morrison's renowned HAL seating range. It features chromed steel legs and a flexible plastic seat fabricated from flexible polypropylene -- it will easily adjust to the posture of any individuals, and it offers supreme levels of support and ease. The polypropylene seating is moulded from a single piece of the material and features curved armrests. The chair is also stackable, so it's an ideal choice for meeting rooms and offices where chairs may need to be stored between uses. The chair measures 45.5 x 49 cm and has a seat height of 43cm. The height of the backrest is 79cm. Seat cushions are available as an optional extra.
