The DCW Chair was created in the year 1945 by designer couple Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra.
The DCW Chair, which is part of the Plywood Group by Charles & Ray Eames, is made of thin moulded sheets of ash wood. The formerly stiff material becomes a gentle support for the body and back by means of this special manufacturing process, which is why this chair by Vitra wonderfully adapts to your needs and is especially comfortable. The individual elements of the DCW are fixed to the frame with elastic rubber discs, further enhancing the seating comfort. The height of the DCW Chair by Vitra is 73 cm. The DCW - by the way, this abbreviation stands for Dining Chair Wood - is available in the versions natural ash and black stained ash.
The DCW is also available as the Lounge Chair Wood LCW with a height of 68 cm. Please see the "similar products" for more information. Besides the DCW Chair we also carry many other products by Vitra!
