The Betty TK8 Bar Stool 76cm has been created by Jakob Thau and Sami Kallio for the brand AndTradition. Thau and Kallio named Betty after a Copenhagen theatre of the same name, but there's nothing excessively dramatic about this refined Scandinavian creation. Using wood and fabric cleverly, Betty blends comfort and good looks. The stool version will be ideal for use in basements and kitchens.
The Betty TK8 Bar Stool 76cm has a four-legged form with a square seat. The seat has been made from a linen webbing which can accommodate sitters comfortably, while the frame is made from solid oak. All of the wood used has been sustainably harvested from FSC-certified Finnish forests, and natural and painted versions are available to choose from.
The Betty TK8 Bar Stool 76cm stands 76cm high and the seat is 40cm square. At 3.5kg, it should also be light enough to carry easily when required. The designers have also added Wagner Quick-Click gliders to each of the legs, ensuring that fragile flooring won't be damaged by the stool - a neat touch which shows how much care went into the stool's design. Restrained, elegant and featuring premium materials, Betty is sure to delight wherever it is used.
