Product description

The Clizia Suspension Lamp S has been created by Adriano Rachele for the brand Slamp. Inspired by a Greek water nymph named Clizia who, according to mythology, was turned into the plant turnsole, Rachele's design uses specially created Opalflex materials to conjure up a design which resembles the hillside plant, while offering a gentle, complex source of light for areas all over the home.

The Clizia Suspension Lamp S hangs from a straight 140cm cable and a red winding cable, both of which connect to a 12cm diameter ceiling canopy. The lamp's shade has a diameter of 53cm and height of 25cm, and it is formed from a cluster of folded tabs made from Opalflex plastic which filters the light beautifully, creating a mix of shade and luminous white sections. The result is a sublime luminaire which is ideal for small and medium sized rooms.

The shade of the Clizia Suspension Lamp S can be easily opened via a magnetic closure system, while external dimmers can be applied to modulate the brightness if needed. The unit weighs just 2kg, and accommodates two bulbs. The appropriate bulbs with an E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
