The Accordéon LED Table Lamp with Battery has been created by Marc Sadler for the brand Slamp. The design of this lamp was inspired by an accordion which the designer aspired to present as a lamp. He used technology and synthetic materials to make this aspiration a stunning reality.
The Accordéon LED Table Lamp with Battery is made of technopolymers. This is an advanced type of plastic that can withstand heat and mechanical stress which traditional plastic cannot. The type that has been used to make the lampshade is known as Lentiflex®. It is pliable and has been folded into pleats that resemble those found on an accordion. It is finished in satin white which ensures that it provides uniform lighting. The shade stands on an aluminium stem that is anchored in a round base. The stem has brass-coloured semi-matte satin lacquer which contrasts with the white shade.
This dimmable lamp can last for up to six and a half hours at the highest setting and 60 hours when at the lowest setting. The Accordéon LED Table Lamp with Battery has a height of 33.7cm and a diameter of 13cm. The diffuser has a diameter of 5cm. It comes with a black or white base.
