Product description

The SML Wall Lamp was designed by Jean-Marc da Costa for lighting brand Serien.

Born in Switzerland in 1958, da Costa studied industrial design at the Design University in Offenbach and later co-founded Serien in 1983 with Manfred Wolf. His first lamp design was the Lift Pendant Lamp, which has since become a modern design classic and is displayed at the Vitra Design Museum in Stuttgart. Other famous da Costa designs include Basis and Reflex, Cosy, Club, Slice and SLM. He has won several prestigious awards, including the Red Dot Design Award and IF Design Award.

The SML Wall Lamp has a neat, minimalist style and symmetrical alignment that brings a sense of harmony and sophistication to any indoor space. Warm light radiates through the elegantly printed louvre glass at the base, providing generous light levels without glare. The light is available in three size options: 9cm, 13cm or 17cm long. Each has the same width of 9cm and height of 3cm. Due to its elegant design and neutral colour palette, the lamp is ideal for illuminating artwork on walls, brightening dark corridors and providing lighting accents in studies and bedrooms.
