The striking Tatu LED Table Lamp/Wall Lamp was designed by André Ricard for the Spanish design company Santa&Cole.

An industrial designer from Barcelona, André Ricard first created the Tatu LED Table Lamp/Wall Lamp in 1972. Inspiration struck on a transoceanic flight when he noticed how his reading light did not disturb his wife who was sleeping in the adjacent seat. Now redesigned for today's consumer, the lamp retains its charming name, which translates as "armadillo".

Made from metal and durable ABS plastic, the Tatu LED Table Lamp/Wall Lamp's three rotating parts allow it to be adapted for use in a number of environments. Measuring 20.5cm in length, 8cm in width and 25cm in height, it is a compact piece that is particularly suitable as a bedside, desk or shelf light, while its 200cm length of cable further enhances its flexibility. It can also be used as a wall light. The updated design includes integrated LED technology. As well as allowing the user to adjust the light's intensity, this LED technology also ensures that the lamp does not become uncomfortably hot. The lamp also incorporates a moveable lens that allows adjustment of the focal length.
