The Rosenthal Bag Vase H:10cm was designed by the Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala for manufacturer Rosenthal.
Tapio Wirkkala is renowned for his original best-selling designs and he even designed Finland's banknotes back in the 1950's. This unique vase impresses with its unusual shape and is guaranteed to turn heads. Made from high-quality porcelain, the distinctive grocery bag shape of the Rosenthal Bag Vase H:10cm has been cleverly created by turning and pressing the porcelain during production. It was actually designed in 1977 and the first production run began in the 1980s. Such are the designer's talents that his works were displayed in New York's Museum of Modern Art, as well as in Paris. The opening of this vase is generous enough to hold a small bunch of flowers or you could simply display it on its own in your home as a distinctive ornament. One of the Finnish designer's most famous creations, it comes in various colour options. These will certainly give you plenty of choice when selecting the vase that will best complement your home decor.
