The Eiermann 3 Garden Table 160x75cm was designed by Alexander Seifried for the brand Richard Lampert.
Richard Lampert founded his furniture company in 1993 in Stuttgart, Germany. His aim was to blend excellent design and craftsmanship with sustainability to create innovative and versatile furniture which could stand up to everyday use. Alexander Seifried has a background in cabinet making as well as furniture and interior design. His work encompasses both public and domestic spaces.
For the Eiermann 3 Garden Table 160x75cm, Alexander Seifried took inspiration from the Egon Eiermann table frame originally designed in 1953. This led to the creation of a versatile and practical table that combines both the rustic and the contemporary in its visual appeal. The sturdy and foldable trestles that support the table are made from tubes of stainless steel. These are surmounted by a tabletop made from five thin layers of spruce or fir plywood fixed together with weatherproof glue. The tabletop is then oiled to give a surface that stands up to the outdoor elements. Covered with cloths, the table is also perfect for indoor entertaining. The Eiermann 3 Garden Table 160x75cm is 76cm in height.
