Mobil 6 Container with Wheels

The Mobil 6 Container with Wheels was designed by Glen Oliver Löw and Antonio Citterio for the brand Kartell.

Citterio and Oliver Löw have been working as a duo since the late 1980s and regularly collaborate with Europe's leading furniture labels. Mobil emerged from their relationship with Kartell - an Italian label with a strong focus on innovation and simplification. Both of these aspects can be seen with Mobil - which provides an adaptable solution for homes or offices requiring extra storage space.

Part of a wider Mobil collection of modular drawers, the Mobil 6 Container with Wheels mixes stylish aesthetics and user-friendly functionality. It has six drawers, making it one of the larger entries in the collection. Each drawer comes with an unobtrusive handle and measures 49 x 47.5 cm, while the unit as a whole rises to a height of 109cm. However, this doesn't make it hard to move around, because Oliver Löw and Citterio have fitted the Mobil 6 Container with Wheels, enabling complete mobility. The product comes with a strong steel frame, while PMMA has been used for the drawers, keeping the total weight down to around 25kg.
