LEM S79 Bar Stool Seat Leather 63-75cm

The LEM S79 Bar Stool Seat Leather 63-75cm has been created by Shin Azumi and Tomoko Azumi for the brand Lapalma. When crafting the LEM series of bar stools, the Azumis were inspired by NASA's Lunar Excursion Module. Taking their cue from space age aesthetics and high technology, they created a stool that looks forward-thinking and feels extremely comfortable.

The LEM S79 Bar Stool Seat Leather 63-75cm has the classic LEM look, with a seat that curves towards the front and back, a footrest that attaches directly to the seat, and a panel of upholstery which extends across the entire seating area. The seat is made from moulded multiplex and has been covered in a 2.4-2.5mm thick layer of leather which comes in brown, black, white and deep red varieties. Below, the Azumis have added a thin steel column and round base. The column conceals a gas spring which allows sitters to alter the height from 63cm to 75cm - so finding the perfect setting should be simple.

The LEM S79 Bar Stool Seat Leather 63-75cm measures 37cm wide and 42cm deep, and the base diameter is 37cm. The stool weighs 13.7kg and felt glides have been added to the underside of the base, facilitating easy movement across almost any surface.
