Product description

The Bellissima Suspension Lamp Glossy was designed by Ferruccio Laviani for the Kartell label.

Born in Italy, Laviani studied architecture and graphic design, and opened his Milan-based design studio in 1991. In the same year, he became the art director at Kartell , a company that markets functional, elegant and beautiful household products, worldwide. Launched in 1949, the company exhibits every year at Milan's Salone del Mobile. Laviani's playful and colourful lamps and items of furniture reflect his background in graphic design, and are worked with superb craftsmanship from the finest materials. His products fit perfectly into the company ethos, which is based on the functional items made by the Bauhaus designers.

The profile of the Bellissima Suspension Lamp Glossy is pencil-sharp, rendering it suitable for the majority of contemporary interiors. Resembling an upturned bowl, the suspension measures 240cm from ceiling to diffuser rim, while the actual diffuser measures 41cm, and has a diameter of 50cm.
