Ohio Suspension Lamp

The Ohio Suspension Lamp has been created by the in-house studio at the brand graypants. With bases in Seattle and Amsterdam, the brand creates unique, innovative pieces for homes, work and event spaces and never conforms to convention.

The Ohio Suspension Lamp is a great representation of the brand's innovative spirit. Handmade from recycled corrugated cardboard, the rounded shade has been laser cut to create a dazzling array of stripes and tones. It also works in tandem with a frosted glass internal diffuser to cast light downwards and through openings in the cardboard, producing a complex mix of direct and indirect illumination is both intimate and functional for use in larger spaces.

The Ohio Suspension Lamp has two sizes: a smaller model with a shade diameter of 61cm and a height of 24cm and a larger version with a diameter of 82cm and a height of 33cm. Both have been treated with non-toxic flame retardant and come with a steel frame to make them more resilient. The lamp comes with a 200cm fabric covered suspension cable and uses a single bulb. Bulbs are not supplied with the lamp, but the appropriate bulb with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
