The Analog Dining Table 185x105cm was designed by the Spanish designer Jaime Hayón for the Danish label Fritz Hansen. Beautifully proportioned and made from high-quality wooden materials, it's a design triumph.

Hayón comes from a mixed design and art background, so it's no surprise that this table is so aesthetically pleasing. The Spanish designer has designed everything from wallpaper to wristwatches, but furniture and lighting are his specialities, as this Analog Dining Table 185x105cm demonstrates.

The table stands on four diagonally positioned legs that are shaped from richly-toned wood. They are securely fastened to the wooden tabletop via laminated plastic sockets, which create a neat transition from the legs to the table's surface. Meanwhile, the tabletop itself is shaped like a rounded rectangle with dimensions of 185 x 105cm, which should provide more than sufficient room for dinner parties, homework, and family occasions.

Designed to be used alongside other Hayón furniture creations, the table could be the perfect centrepiece for an arrangement of stools, chairs and sofas. But the table works equally well on its own. With its simplicity and attention to detail, this Fritz Hansen table will add class to any modern dining room.
