J81 Armchair

The J81 Armchair has been created by Jørgen Bækmark for the brand FDB Møbler. This chair was designed decades ago but its timeless design makes it relevant and in demand today. It showcases the typical style of Danish design during the 1950s.

The J81 Armchair has a high, wide, backrest that is made of FSC-certified beech or oak. The backrest has spindles, which were a common feature on the furniture made during that period. Below the backrest is a well-sized seat that also has a frame made of beech or oak. The seat has a unique weave over it that is done with paper yarn. It gives the chair a look that is all its own. On either side of the seat are armrests with spindles that match those on the backrest. The rounded legs have bars running along and across which function as footrests.

The J81 Armchair has a width of 65.3cm, a height of 82cm and a depth of 53.3cm. It has a seat depth of 41cm, a seat height of 45cm and an armrest height of 68cm. A seat cushion is available for purchase separately.
