The Tavla Oval Table 200x100cm Extendable was designed by the Pool Studio for the label Petite Friture.

This label was founded by Amelie DuPassage in 2009 and has a mission to provide fun products that delight and uplift the soul. The Petite Friture brand is also committed to discovering new design talent right across the globe. It is primarily focused on creating an appealing design narrative for rooms that results in a beautiful aesthetic.

This beautiful Tavla Oval Table 200x100cm Extendable demonstrates a Middle Eastern influence and is fabricated from top quality walnut woods and steel. The wooden table top has a natural and black design, reminiscent of the marquetry techniques used for traditional backgammon tables. The word Tavla in the product name is Iranian for backgammon. Two differently coloured walnut woods are used to create the unique table top design, with grains running in opposing directions. The legs and table frame are fabricated from durable steel. The extending table can seat from eight to 12 diners, as there are two 50cm wide extending leaves. The table weighs 60kg in total, and measures 200 x 100 x 75 cm when in normal mode.
