The Noa Plastic Rug 70x50cm was designed by Lina Rickardsson for the manufacturer pappelina.
Rickardsson studied weaving and painting in Göteborg before starting to weave her own rugs in 1998 and later launching her company pappelina. At this time, she'd received her first volume order for hand-woven linen rugs but Rickardsson also rediscovered plastic as a weaving material and revived this 1960's tradition, which had gone out of fashion in recent years. Her rugs feature simple geometric themes and subtle colours. They're made in her home country of Sweden, using traditional looms.
The Noa Plastic Rug 70x50cm has an impressive circular geometric pattern on a darker background. It's a smaller rug, so ideal for more compact spaces such as bathrooms, studies, kitchens or even balconies. Since this design comes in three different shades, you can choose the ideal colour to match your décor. One of the most striking features of this rug is the contrasting border on two sides, which adds character.
The Noa Plastic Rug 70x50cm is made from high-quality PVC which is derived from Swedish raw materials. These are environmentally friendly, so by owning this rug, you can stick to your eco principles.
