Product description

The Mass Side Table has been created by Roee Magdassi for the brand Northern. Released in 2020, Mass is an utterly contemporary creation which bridges the gap between fine art and practical design. It features a series of open spaces which expose items to view, making them excellent settings for art and ornaments. And it's also a robust, well-designed side table for everyday use.

The Mass Side Table has an unusual form, featuring rounded metallic plates and a blend of clear and soft lines. The form has been crafted to allow light to pass through the table, creating a complex interplay of shadows, while giving the whole piece a delicate appearance. The upper surface is shaped like a rectangle that has been rounded on one side, and part of the base has been curved to create a storage area.

The Mass Side Table has a height of 38cm and measures 40cm long by 30cm wide. Thanks to the economical use of materials, it weighs just 5.9kg, and can be moved easily on its rounded base. Magdassi has used a range of materials, including brass, stainless steel and black versions. All have a stylish aesthetic and offer a highly functional option for interior settings.
