The Langue Avantgarde Dining Chair Frame Black was designed by contemporary design partners Rune Krojgaard and Knut Bendik Humlevik for furniture label Norr 11.

This long-term design partnership have worked with Norr 11 since the very start and have been a key feature of the brand's identity and success. Honouring their Norwegian and Danish heritage, Humlevik and Krojgaard weave facets of traditional Scandinavian design into their pieces, with the regular use of wood and minimalism. Their inspirations from fashion, architecture, industrial design and the iconic works of other furniture designers can be seen in their pieces, bringing a truly contemporary design aesthetic and ingenious modern functionality to each and every one of their works.

The aptly-named Langue Avantgarde Dining Chair Frame Black showcases minimalist and neat design clarity, lending a minimalist appearance with an unexpectedly comfortable and cosy seating experience that feels traditional and nostalgic. The sweeping curves of the seat shell are balanced atop a durable metal frame, providing a sturdy feel in use and resisting slipping. The chair is 78cm tall, 51cm deep, 50cm wide and has a seat height of 46cm, offering a comfortable sitting feel that supports the contours of the back and legs.
