The Scala Dining Table Ø 110cm has been created by Simon Legald for the brand Normann Copenhagen. Named after Milan's famous opera house, Scala simplifies the concept of a dining table, removing excessive features to create a minimalist masterwork.

The Scala Dining Table Ø 110cm is built around the form of the column, with a mixture of round elements and vertical strands. The table top is perfectly circular and has a diameter of 110cm. Legald has chosen to use oak veneer for both the upper surface and the base, with natural or black finishes both available. Underneath, he has added a four-part central support made from a series of cubic struts. This central column is made from steel with a finish to match the other parts of the table. As a result, the furnishing is beautifully harmonious and durable at the same time.

The Scala Dining Table Ø 110cm has a height of 75cm and it weighs 53.4kg. With its round shape, the upper surface will lend itself to social occasions, with ample space for multiple sitters to meet, dine and chat. And the clever construction of the base allows light to pass through, softening the overall appearance without sacrificing strength.
