The Oona Carpet 90x200cm was designed by Simon Legald for the Danish Normann label. With its excellent craftsmanship and attractive design, this rug will be a lovely addition to bathrooms, hallways and living rooms alike.

Legald is a bright, contemporary Danish talent. He made his name with striking, retro-inspired chair and table designs, but as this Oona Carpet 90x200cm demonstrates, his skills go beyond just carpentry. His mission is centred around "honesty", using high-quality materials and craft techniques to create genuinely superior products, usually with a stripped-down, minimalist feel.

Legald's design style is a perfect fit for Normann, with its aim of stimulating innovative design but also maintaining continuity with timeless techniques; you can see this clearly in the Oona carpet.

Measuring 90 x 200 cm, this is a medium sized rug and is made from 100% New Zealand wool. Legald has chosen to round the edges, creating a soft, appealing look. Additionally, he also chose to use hand-knotting to create the rug instead of relying on machine processing. The result is a more organic, complex finish with a richer texture and a friendly, warm feel. In other words, a perfect addition to stylish homes.
