Product description

The Norm 03 Suspension Lamp has been created by Britt Kornum for the brand Normann Copenhagen. A sculptural delight and a highly practical modern pendant lamp, Norm 03 was first conceived in 2003 as a unique ornament for Kornum's home. However, when colleagues saw her creation, they persuaded her to turn the shade into a fully realised product, resulting in a work of art which won the Formlandprisen 2003.

The Norm 03 Suspension Lamp has an ovoid shape with a round aperture cut in the top of the lamp. The exterior of the diffuser has a ruffled appearance and is composed from a delicately folded pattern of lampshade foil. Each diffuser is hand-made, just like the original, and each creates a hypnotic, intriguing glow when the lamp is engaged.

The Norm 03 Suspension Lamp has two sizes. A smaller version measures 32cm high with a 53cm diameter, while the larger version is 40cm high and has a diameter of 65cm. The shade hangs from an adjustable white cable which complements the folded material, and the luminaire accommodates a single energy efficient bulb. Delicate, unique, and wildly creative, Norm 03 will be a centrepiece that will grace anyone's home.
