The Ding Side Table was designed by Ding 3000 for Normann.
One of the most famous design companies to come out of Denmark in the latter half of the 20th century, Normann is a name often associated with putting the 'fun' in functional. The company collaborates with many design studios from around the world, including Ding 3000, a German design team who create innovative home furniture such as the now iconic Ding Side Table.
The Ding Side Table is instantly striking; it's three-legged oak stand was inspired by ancient wooden puzzles and required no glue, nails or screws to be constructed. Atop the three oak legs is a circular glass table top with a diameter of 75 cm, available in a clear or smoked finish. The highly durable table is easy to clean and is remarkably stable.
This funky small side table measures just 40 cm in height and is equally at home in an office, kitchen diner or lounge. It looks great when used in conjunction with an armchair or sofa such as the Carl Hansen Embrace E005 Armchair, a piece that also makes the most of natural materials.
