Product description

The Bukowski Armchair has been created by Steven Bukowski for the brand New Works. It is pared down to leave nothing but the essentials. The result is a unique, refined chair that is the definition of minimalism.

The Bukowski Armchair has a rounded backrest that is made of a curved bar of wood that supports and cradles the back. It has two bottle-shaped bars in the middle that go all the way down to the floor. It has similar bars at the ends of the backrest that also go down to the floor. They are stout and rounded at the bottom which makes for a sturdy base. The chair has a seat that is as wide as the backrest. It is round and is padded and upholstered to match the backrest. The frame is made of oak, walnut or beech which are all strong, hardwearing types of wood. Upholstery has been done using fabric from brands that are known for their premium quality. This includes the Elitis, Kvadrat and Nevotex range of upholstery fabrics. They are comfortable, strong and long-lasting.

The Bukowski Armchair has a width of 57cm, a height of 71.8cm and a depth of 46cm. Its seat height is 46cm. It comes with natural wood frames and neutral-coloured seat cushions.
