The Crown Magnum Chandelier was created by Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub for the Italian design label NEMO.
Launched in Milan in 1993, NEMO has become well-known for its cutting-edge lighting that showcases the best of Italian design. The label works with up-and-coming designers as well as reissuing iconic pieces of the 20th-century. The German-born design duo, Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub have a background in industrial design which, along with nature, informs and inspires the look and function of their lighting pieces. Among their prizes is the Red Dot Design Award.
Chic and geometric, the Crown Magnum Chandelier is a truly striking pendant design. It is perfect for larger spaces, both domestic and public. Hung with a transparent cable, the light seems to float in space. This modern reworking of a classic chandelier has a tree-like frame of die-casted aluminium finished in high-gloss real gold plate. The cylindrical diffusers are made of subtly contrasting sandblasted glass. The Crown Magnum Chandelier comes ready assembled and measures 150 x 124 151 cm with an adjustable cable length of 350cm. The diameter of the ceiling plate is 13cm.
