Product description

The unique Losanges carpet was designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for the Spanish design label Nanimarquina.
The melodic name Losanges originates in the French language and means rhombus, alluding to the shape of the Losanges rugs.
The different square and colourful elements fashion the Losanges Carpet in reference to traditional Persian carpets into a large rhombus with 13 different colours.
The Losanges Design Carpets are produced of hand-spun wool using the antique Kilim knotting technique.
This design carpet is made of 100% Afghan wool, knotted with a density of 156,000 knots/m2. The Losanges Carpets are each one of a kind, for the 13 colours create a new pattern and set new accents for every carpet.
The Losanges Carpets by Nanimarquina are available in different sizes, please see the Losanges "available product types" for more information.
On request this carpet is available in even more variants. In 2012 the Losanges Carpet by nanimarquina received the ELLE DECORATION International Design Award.
