The Hayon x Nani Wool Rug has been created by Jaime Hayon for the brand Nanimarquina. Spanish artist-designer Hayon has made a big name for himself with finely-crafted renaissance-age pieces that are contemporary. The Hayon x Nani Wool Rug is a good illustration of his approach to design and his talent. At first glance, it looks like an unordered mix of shapes and colours. A close look will reveal that the rug, which is made of 100 percent New Zealand wool, has images of hands, lips, fish, turtles, stools and more. The rug is made with a hand-tufting technique in which a manually operated device is used to inject ink into the wool to create the images. The effect is fluid lines and an organic, original result that looks just as it did as a sketch on paper.

The Hayon x Nani Wool Rug comes in different sizes. The smallest one has a length of 130cm and a width of 120cm while the medium-sized one has a length of 240cm and a width of 170cm. The largest has a length of 300cm and a width of 200cm. A runner is also available that has a length of 240cm with a width of 80cm.
