Ambit Wall Lamp

The Ambit Wall Lampwas designed by Mattias Ståhlbom and Gabriella Gustafson for the brand Muuto.

Under the TAF Studio banner, Ståhlbom and Gustafson have become one of Sweden's leading design houses in recent years. Focusing on infusing traditional forms with new ideas, and always meticulously choosing the appropriate materials for the task at hand, TAF has been a dependable partner for the Danish label Muuto, creating numerous favourites, including this graceful Ambit Wall Lamp.

The Ambit collection is defined by its hand-spun aluminium diffusers. Delicately shaded on the outside, the 40.7 x 16.7 x 19.5 cm shade has a white interior. This allows light from the 12W bulb to diffuse evenly throughout the nearby area, casting a downward glow that is ideal for reading. Attached to the wall via an aluminium bracket, the Ambit Wall Lamp has a 250cm cable, and can be positioned wherever makes the most sense. The bracket also allows the main diffuser to be pivoted through 120 degrees - adding even more freedom for users to enjoy. With its bowl-shaped shade and refined composition, the Ambit Wall Lampis a fine work of modern Scandinavian design.
