The Harri Bar Chair was designed by Peter Fehrentz for the brand More .
Fehrentz is a German designer who spreads his expertise between metalworking, photography, and pure furniture design. Based in Berlin, he is a regular collaborator with More , a leading contemporary German furniture brand and a company which constantly seeks to push the boundaries of product design. The Harri Bar Chair emerged from that partnership, offering a retro-inspired but thoroughly modern spin on the classic bar stool format.
The Harri Bar Chair stands out with its two-tone colour scheme, featuring ecologically sustainable coconut fibre and sisal belting alongside leather to create an appealing contrast. The seat has been generously padded with ricinus oil-treated foam, and stands 80cm above the ground, while the stool as a whole measures 103cm tall, 47.5cm wide, and 51cm deep. Each stool weighs just 8kg, so moving the Harri Bar Chair around should pose few problems. The strong steel frame has been engineered to appear slender and elegant, adding visual appeal to the ensemble. Stylishly composed, extremely comfortable, and sure to last for many years, it offers a fitting addition to breakfast bars and cellar social spaces.
