Fringe 4 Suspension Lamp

The Fringe 4 Suspension Lamp was created by Edward van Vliet for famous design houseMoooi.

Moooi was founded in Holland in 2001, and the designers Marcel Wanders and Casper Vissers named it after the Dutch word for 'beautiful', adding an extra 'o' to reflect the uniqueness of their products. The Fringe 4 Suspension Lamp was designed for the company by Edward van Vliet. Van Vliet graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven and during his career, he has focused on interior design and textiles. His lighting and furniture designs are covered with beautiful fabrics, colours and textures.

The Fringe 4 Suspension Lamp is light, bright and sumptuous. It is created from a large cylindrical PVC shade, with cotton fringing around the bottom. This fringing gives the lamp a soft look and is reminiscent of the flapper dresses of the 1920s. The light is equally at home as part of a modern or traditional decorating scheme, as it blends both classic and contemporary fabrics and shapes. It is part of a larger range of various lighting pieces. It has a height of 70cm, a diameter of 40cm and takes 1x E27 / 100W bulb.
