Fool's Paradise Carpet Round

The Fool's Paradise Carpet Round has been created by Marcel Wanders for the brand Moooi Carpets.The carpet has a bold and graphic representation of a variety of flowers. They are set on a dark background which plays up each detail of the motif. The Fool's Paradise Carpet Round is printed on polyamide. The printing is completed digitally via a process known as chromojet printing. The process uses full-colour resolution which creates sharply defined images and striking contrasts. It is a first and a benchmark setter in the printing of wall and floor coverings.

The carpet has two backings on the underside which is one of the features that make it so hardwearing. Its main backing is made of woven PP which is plastic while its supportive or secondary backing is made of felt. The Fool's Paradise Carpet Round comes in two sizes. The smaller one has a diameter of 250cm while the larger one has a diameter of 350cm. It will add colour and comfort laid out under a round kitchen or dining table. It will do the same in a living room, bedroom or conservatory. It can also work its visual magic when mounted on a wall as art.
