The Torso 37 Table Lamp has been created by Studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen for the brand Audo. Experts in blending the worlds of sculpture and product design, Studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen have become regular partners for Danish label Audo since forming in 2016. The Torso lamp shows how quickly they have mastered the art of mixing art and design.

The Torso 37 Table Lamp echoes the contours of the human body, giving it a wonderful natural feel. The centrepiece here is the contrast between the cone-shaped shade and the rounded base, both of which are carefully proportioned to work together without any rough edges. But the simple form of this lamp is not the only impressive aspect.

The designers have used linen for the 35cm diameter shade, which allows light to escape gently and ensures a steady source of illumination for surrounding areas. The 18.5cm diameter base is absolutely stable, despite the far broader shade, while there is a brass dimmer on the top of the base as well - enabling complete control. The Torso 37 Table Lamp generates ample light. The appropriate lamp with the E14 socket can be ordered under accessories.
