Product description

The Knitting Lounge Chair Sheepskin has been created by Ib Kofod-Larsen for the brand Audo. It was first designed in 1951 and launched as a limited edition. Audo has brought it back under the Modernism Reimagined concept.

The Knitting Lounge Chair Sheepskin has retained its original design from when it was handcrafted in Sweden. The chair gets its name from the cut-outs at the elbow that were put in to allow optimal comfort while knitting. It has a frame made of walnut that is finished with an oil coating. The frame supports a seat and backrest made of moulded plywood. The flexible wood allows the backrest to recline. It is high and wide and the seat below it is also generously sized. The backrest is padded with foam and upholstered with sheepskin that is draped over the frame. It gives it a warm, cosy look. The seat is also padded and upholstered with matching sheepskin.

The Knitting Lounge Chair Sheepskin has a width of 71.3cm, a height of 90.6cm and a depth of 66.9cm. Its seat height is 30cm. It comes in neutral colours. Although it was originally made for knitters, the chair will provide comfortable seating for anyone.
