The Cast Wall Lamp was designed by Jordan Murphy and Thomas Chung for the brand Menu.
Embodying the soft minimalism philosophy upheld by Menu, the wall lamp is part of the Cast series and is inspired by an ancient plumb weight used by Ancient Egyptian masons to determine a vertical. Jordan and Tomas developed the Cast Wall Lamp around the concept of compact, geometric lighting and made sure that all corners are pleasant to look at and that they project soft, glare-free illumination.
Suitable for both residential and commercial settings, the Cast Wall Lamp by Jordan Murphy and Thomas Chung comprises a cast aluminium shade in a tactile finish, contrasting with the fixing pin of brushed brass. It brings together round, triangular, and linear elements into an elegant geometrical profile that elevates the atmosphere of any indoor space, whether switched on or off. Both the shade and the base have a diameter of 11cm while the total height of the lamp is 13cm. Seamlessly adapted to a wide range of interiors, the pendant uses a 200cm cable and is very easy to combine with the rest of the lighting fixtures in the Cast series.
