The Imago Mirror has been created by Pederjessen for the brand Mater. Pederjessen Design Studio is the brainchild of Danish industrial designers Søren Pedersen and Lasse Jessen. The duo takes a holistic approach to design and is constantly experimenting with new production methods and materials. Their values are clear to see in the Imago Mirror.This sculptural mirror is a magnificent work of art. It is inspired by beautiful butterflies emerging from cocoons. This is represented in the wing-shaped sides that can be folded in and out just like flapping wings. The mirror is made from a single sheet of brass or stainless steel.

The Imago Mirror has a diameter of 58cm and a depth of 7cm. It is available in brass and stainless steel, which are both highly polished. The use of these materials is in keeping with Mater's philosophy and dedication to sustainability. The brand is also dedicated to authenticity and allowing designers and artisans from all over the world to showcase their craftsmanship and culture. The mirror is wall-mounted and is ideal for use in entryways, hallways and living rooms. With its striking aesthetics, it can also be mounted on a wall as decor.
