Modena LED Suspension

The Modena LED Suspension lamp has been created by the in-house studio for the brand Martinelli Luce. Winner of a Special Mention at the 2017 Architizer A+ Awards, Modena is inspired by the Italian city of the same name. Capable of creating a seductive diffused light for medium sized rooms, Modena will be a fine accent piece and an adaptable light source, all in one.

The Modena LED Suspension has a drum-shaped diffuser which features a perforated edge. This allows illumination to escape directly downwards while also shedding light through the holes, enriching the overall effect. The diffuser is made from aluminium and a couple of colour schemes are available, including white/orange and black/gold. Both feature a distinctive round knob on the side of the lamp which connects it to the power cable and supporting bracket. This knob also allows the lamp to swivel, adding to its overall flexibility.

The Modena LED Suspension has a diameter of 41cm and measures 16cm high. The cable length is 400cm, and this can be altered as required, while the lamp can also be externally dimmed. The overall weight is 3.2kg, and the lamp features integrated light sources within the diffuser. Original and beautiful, Modena will suit living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens alike.
