The Me Too Piedras Bench was designed by Javier Mariscal for the manufacturer Magis. This Italian firm has been creating innovative furniture for adults for over 40 years, and it has applied the same principles to children's furniture with its Me Too range, inviting some of the world's top designers to contribute ideas. Mariscal has been running his own extremely successful studio in Barcelona since 1989. His cross-disciplinary interests include film, graphic art and landscape gardening as well as design, and he is perhaps best-known in his home country for designing the official mascot for the Barcelona Olympic games.
Suitable for use outdoors, the Me Too Piedras Bench from Magis is a fun piece of garden furniture for boys and girls. Made from durable moulded polyethylene, it is is 47.5 cm in height, 62 cm in width and 117.5 cm in length. Designed to look like it has been carved from solid rock, it is light and portable but stable enough for children to clamber over it happily. Suitable for playgroups and playgrounds as well as family gardens, the Me Too Piedras Bench helps to bring a touch of whimsy and fantasy to outdoor areas.
