The Farel D96 LED Suspension Lamp was created by Diego Sferazza for the manufacturer Luceplan.
Diego Sferazza is an Italian designer who studied History of Art at the Università Statale in Milan. He has worked as an industrial designer since 2000, and his designs have featured in lots of international exhibitions. He adopts an aesthetic and technical approach to designs, using a mixture of materials and proportions to achieve simple elegance combined with functionality. Luceplan manufactures innovative products offering creative design combined with functionality and efficiency. The manufacturer has received several awards and supplies a wide range of versatile light fittings.
The Farel D96 LED suspension lamp was inspired by traditional dome architectural structures that use zenithal light for illumination. These lights have a minimalist appeal that will add elegance to any room without overpowering existing decorative elements. This suspension lamp contains built-in LED lamps which cannot be changed. It is fabricated from acoustic material, Trevira CS fabric and aluminium, and the cable length is 300cm. One 32W LED light fitting is included and this has a A++ energy efficiency grade. The light fitment is compatible with all A energy class light bulbs.
