Mutatio 253 Wall Lamp

The Mutatio 253 Wall Lamp has been created by Christian Troels for the brand Le Klint. Mutatio has been inspired by the idea of 'mutation' - and includes a innovative combination of open and closed elements. This creates intriguing transitions between light and shade, while illuminating spaces around the home extremely well.

The Mutatio 253 Wall Lamp won the 2014 Copenhagen Interior Design Awards Show award, and every aspect of the lamp shows its award-winning qualities. The lamp consists of a wall bracket and a separate diffuser that is connected via a slender arm. Both elements have white interiors and black exteriors, setting up a visually striking contrast. The light interior also helps to reflect light from the bulb, while minimising glare. Additionally, the diffuser has been designed to pivot, providing extra flexibility about how the lamp is used.

The Mutatio 253 Wall Lamp measures 25cm in height and has a diameter of 8cm. The exterior elements have all been constructed from steel with matt paint finishes, and a switch can be found on the wall bracket. The lamp can accommodate a wide range of bulb classes, and the appropriate bulb with the E14 socket can be ordered under accessories.
