105 Suspension Lamp

The 105 Suspension Lamp has been created by Mogens Kock for the brand Le Klint. The 105 first appeared in 1945 as part of the post-war Danish design boom. Inspired by Le Klint' s own Fruit Lamp, Koch sought to simplify the lamp's form. Echoing Japanese paper lanterns, he came up with this pendant light which is marked by elegantly pleated folds and a highly functional design.

This updated version of the 105 Suspension Lamp has an octagonal shade which has been made from white folded plastic at the brand's Odense workshop. Two sizes of shade are available. A smaller version has a diameter of 26cm and a height of 33cm, while the larger version has a diameter of 30cm and is 40cm tall. The plastic folded surface ensures that both options cast a gentle light outwards, creating a relaxed atmosphere wherever the lamp is used.

The cable included with the 105 Suspension Lamp allows owners to adjust the height with ease - although care should be taken when handling the pleated shade. Inside the shade, the lamp accommodates an efficient LED bulb with an E27 socket. The bulb is included inside the luminaire and is ready for use immediately.
