The Hole Chair Stackable was created by the by the Italian designer Enzo Berti for la palma.
Enzo Berti is an artist and designer who was influenced by, and studied under, Alberto Viani, a great sculptor and pioneer of the Spatialism movement. After studying industrial design in Venice, Berti spent much of his early years creating pieces of decorative art for exhibitions all around Europe. The la palma name is well regarded as being at the forefront of fine Italian craftsmanship, creating a range of household furnishings and lighting products, as can be seen from their collection of awards, including the FX International Interior Design Award in 2000 and the Japanese Good Design Award in 2001.
The Hole Chair Stackable, like so many other items from this brand, combines several elements of traditional Italian furniture design, industrialism and minimalism. The chair features an ergonomic design and is stackable. The piece is made up of a sandblasted steel frame with a choice of wood (lacquered or laminate finish), wool or leather seat, allowing it to be both sturdy, long-lasting and comfortable. The Hole Chair Stackable has a height of 75cm.
