Thin-K Aluminium Table

The Thin-K Aluminium Table was designed by Luciano Bertoncini for furniture manufacturer Kristalia.

Born in Italy in 1939, Bertoncini started his design career with studies in technical drawing. Since then, he has played an important role in landscaping Italy's design scene. He is known for his groundbreaking designs, which often use minimalist and futuristic elements in combination with the inventive use of materials for a cutting-edge design. His colleagues credit his success to the combination of his natural talent for design and easy-going personality, with the designer describing himself simply as 'lucky'.

The Thin-K Aluminium Table showcases a clean, minimalist design that works well in any indoor or outdoor environment from living rooms to gardens. The stand-out feature of the table is its namesake thin tabletop, which is just 6mm thick. Take your pick from two sizes, 123 x 150 x 170 cm or 80 x 80 x 90 cm. The table has an easy-care aluminium construction which feels robust in use and is simple to wipe clean. The tabletop is extremely thin yet very sturdy, as the rectangular legs are made of powder-coated steel. Due to the weather-resistant materials used in the fabrication process, the table can also be used outside.
