Maui Soft Chair

The Maui Soft Chair has been created by Vico Magistretti for the brand Kartell. This chair is shaped to follow the human form which ensures it provides support exactly where it is needed.

The Maui Soft Chair has a straight-edge backrest that broadens out and then narrows down towards the lower edge. Below it is a seat that is as wide as the backrest. The shell is made of smooth batch-dyed polypropylene. It has padded with foam which is concealed beneath the upholstery. The Trevira fabric that has been used for this is made of wool which gives the chair a soft, plush look and feel. The fabric has horizontal lines that work well to create a balance against the chair's straight vertical lines. It can be cleaned and has been treated to make it flame resistant. The chair is supported by a frame made of tubular steel that is finished with chrome plating. The legs that have gliders to ensure floors aren't scratched are slightly outspread to enhance the chair's stability and durability.

The Maui Soft Chair has a width of 55cm, a height of 77cm and a depth of 52cm. It has a seat height of 45cm. It is available in orange, red, black and bilious green.
