The Zettel'z Munari Suspension Lamp Ø120cm has been created by Bruno Munari for the brand Ingo Maurer. This unique pendant lamp features cards from 'Bruno Munari's ABC' published in 1960. With its educational theme and sense of fun, it will be the ideal suspension lamp for playrooms and children's bedrooms.
Munari first published his alphabet in the 1960s and this lamp features a series of 80 Japanese paper cards which introduce the alphabet for a new generation. The lamp itself resembles a mobile, with paper sheets connected to a diffuser and ceiling cable. The double-sided sheets feature graphics from Munari's work and all are made from Japanese paper, allowing light to diffuse through the design and making the images glow gently. The ensemble measures 120cm high and has a 120cm diameter, making it large enough to use as a main light in most rooms.
The Zettel'z Munari Suspension Lamp Ø120cm connects to a 11cm diameter canopy via a 330cm cable. The cards are illuminated by a cylindrical diffuser which is made from glass, which has an attractive white satin finished exterior, and doesn't intrude into the card arrangement. A slender steel frame supports the design, and the Zettel'z Munari Suspension Lamp Ø120cm also requires a pair of bulbs, which are not supplied. The appropriate bulbs with an E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
