​​The Sowden Electric Kettle 1.5l was designed by George Sowden for the brand HAY.

Founded in 2002 by design power couple Rolf and Mette Hay, the company works with talented and innovative designers to create simple yet stylish and functional furniture and accessories. Their partnership with established names like Inga Sempe and the Bouroullec brothers, among others, resulted in outstanding products such as the smart Palissade line and the popular polygonal trays.​

Made from robust polypropylene and stainless steel, the Sowden Electric Kettle 1.5 l is one the brand’s first forays into the world of steel appliances. It features a chunky handle to give a firm grip and a wide spout for easy pouring. The kettle has a push button lid and an auto shut-off function whilst the swivel base makes it easy to detach the kettle when you're ready to pour. The electric cable can also be tucked away under the base for a clutter-free look. Available in 4 colour combinations, the elegant Sowden Electric Kettle 1.5l measures 22 x 16.5 x 26 cm and has a capacity of 1.5l.
