The Petit Standard Chair matt lacquered has been created by Daniel Rybakken for the brand HAY. Norwegian designer Rybakken has a full case of prestigious award trophies. The 2019 Bo Bedre Design Award for Innovation of the Year, the 2018 Archiproducts Design Award, the 2018 NYC x DESIGN Award and the 2018 Wallpaper Design Award for the 124° Mirror are just a few of the accolades he has received. The Sweden-based designer has a fundamental interest in combining art and technology to create pieces that are beautiful and functional.

He certainly did that with the Petit Standard Chair matt lacquered. Stackable with up to 12 chairs, this chair stands out with its matt lacquered seat and backrest that sit on a frame made of powder coated tubular steel. It also has steel tubes that form a three-dimensional triangle at the back. The back is high and the seat is curved for comfort. The steel frame ensures stability and stackabilty.
