Bandas Rug 240x250cm

The stylish Bandas Rug 240x250cm was designed by Patricia Urquiola for the manufacturing label GAN.

Urquiola has lived and worked in Milan for over 20 years after graduating from the School of Architecture of Madrid Polytechnic and Milan Polytechnic in 1989. From her office, that was opened in 2001, she has created designs that have become internationally renowned. Some of her pieces are on permanent exhibition in the MoMA in New York and she has received numerous awards for her designs, including Designer of the Year, Designer of the Decade and the prestigious Red Dot Award. GAN are a company that manufactures hand made products with almost 150 years experience in producing innovative designs.

The Bandas Rug 240x250cm was handmade in India by experienced craftsmen using natural 100% new wool fibres. As each rug is individually made, each one will have very slight variations, offering singularity and uniqueness. The Bandas Rug 240x250cm is 240cm in length and 250cm in width, making it large enough to be used in living rooms, under furniture in place of carpet, in the bedroom or in a large entrance hallway to create a striking first impression when people visit.
