Anniversary Edition 2022 Lily™ Chair

The Anniversary Edition 2022 Lily™ Chair has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Fritz Hansen. This sculptural 1970 chair has retained its allure with its form that emulates that of the human body. Its iconic status earned it a place in the brand's celebratory 150th Anniversary Edition. It has a backrest that is wide and high that whittles to form a wing shape then swells out to form a wide seat. The seat has curves that form a wing shape that imitates that of the backrest. The spectacularly shaped shell is made of nine layers of pressure-moulded veneer. The layers are overlaid with polyurethane foam that is covered with upholstery finished with Sørensen Grace leather. This eco-conscious brand of leather is the most sustainable type in the world. It has a soft look and feel and is very durable.

The Anniversary Edition 2022 Lily™ Chair has a base made of tubular steel legs that are finished with chrome plating. They have the aesthetic detail of being slightly outspread which also serves to strengthen and stabilise the chair. The Anniversary Edition 2022 Lily™ Chair has a width of 54cm, a height of 83cm and a depth of 49cm. Its seat height is 46cm. It comes in a warm chestnut colour.
